Planning Figures Only

Graduate-level starting salaries are approximately €30,000–€42,000 per year, with finance, consulting and luxury management roles reaching €45,000–€65,000+ depending on role, experience and employer.

Eligible international students can generally work up to 964 hours per year (roughly 20 hours/week during term time) — common student jobs include retail, restaurant/café staff, tutoring, campus/administrative roles and programme-linked internships (stages), subject to French minimum-wage (SMIC) rules.

Indian Food, Safety & Community

A Familiar Support Network

Indian food is widely available in major French cities — Indian restaurants, vegetarian-friendly options and Indian/Asian grocery shops are common, with Paris, Lyon and Nice offering particularly good options; smaller campus towns like Rennes have fewer choices but usually at least a few Indian or South Asian eateries.

France is generally considered a safe destination for international students, with universities offering campus security, international student offices, emergency assistance and buddy/mentorship programmes. Students should still follow normal safety precautions. A growing Indian student and expatriate community — especially in Paris and other business-school hub cities — makes it easier to settle in.

Why Study in France?
